The High School Division is deeply committed to continuous growth and improvement for both our students and staff. We embrace the AIS mission to inspire responsible, adaptable world citizens who remain grounded in their cultural values while persevering through new challenges. A key part of preparing our students for these challenges is our academically rigorous and intellectually stimulating International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme. As an IB World School since 2007, we are proud to offer an education that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and a global perspective.
Our dedicated teachers, who come from around the globe, are experts in their fields and share a common goal—to help AIS students develop the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to succeed in university and thrive as engaged global citizens.
While academics are at the heart of what we do, we know that high school is about much more than classroom learning. We encourage our students to discover new interests, nurture their passions, and develop leadership skills through our vibrant Athletics, Activities, and Arts programs. Active participation in the AIS community helps students grow as individuals while building lasting connections with peers and mentors.
We also recognize that the IB Programme, while rewarding, can be challenging. High school is a time of exciting growth as well as significant change, and our students are supported every step of the way. Our highly skilled and dedicated teachers—drawn from around the world—engage in continuous professional learning to refine their practice. Our experienced counseling department offers personalized college and career guidance, academic support, and social-emotional care.
