Be inspired by Grade 11 & 12 Visual Arts students’s Urban Landscape drawings with watercolor!
Students were asked to create gesture drawings inspired by urban landscapes. Students were encouraged to capture the charm of old buildings through the use of vibrant water color paintings with sketchily gestural qualities.
Students in Mrs Hani’s Visual Arts class rendered in a distinctively loose style. Working quickly to capture fleeting moments. The students used black pen to sketch contour lines and fine details before adding washes of delicate color. Each scene captures light and shadow, bringing the urban landscape studies to life.
