The Superintendent, in cooperation with the Health and Safety Committee and the Administrative Council, develops and enforce procedures for health and safety pertaining to all aspects of school life including school transportation, campus security, food service, playgrounds and equipment, specialist teaching spaces (science, physical education, and the performing arts) and emergency response (fire, natural disaster, pandemic, dangerous intruders, act of terror, bomb threats).
